David Rubinoff (1897-1986) Russian born violinist. Rubinoff was heard during the 1930s and 1940s on various radio programs playing his $100,000 Stradivarius violin. He also performed in theaters, clubs and schools, and he gave several concerts at the White House during the 1940s.
7 ½” pamphlet in the shape of Rubinoff’s famed Stradivarius violin, featuring a photograph of the front and back of the actual violin itself, with biographical text inside as well as the violinist’s photograph adjacent to a signature page, which Rubinoff has signed, “Sincerely Rubinoff 1951”. There is some folding.
