John Quincy Adams (1767-1848) 6th President.
A collection of four front panels ((mostly 6” x 3 ¼”) which were addressed and free franked by Adams. They are age-browned with considerable paper-loss, affecting the franking signatures. Nonetheless, there are examples of his handwriting “His Excellency George H. Briggs”, his son, “Hon. Charles Francis Adams”, “His Excellency, The Governor of Alabama” and a partial item with “Adams” and an address,
