He was best known for his 67 seasons calling games for Major League Baseball’s Los Angeles Dodgers, beginning in 1950 (when the franchise was located in Brooklyn) and ending in 2016. He was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982. Donald Scott Drysdale (1936 –1993) was an American professional baseball player. Drysdale was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1984.
